Interesting facts about our staff:
Patty Wagner, Business Manager – graduated from NMSU in 1993 with a Master of Accountancy and in 1992 with a Bachelor of Accountancy. She has been with Holt Mynatt Martinez since April of 2002. Patty serves on the Board of Directors of White Sands Federal Credit Union and is also the chair of the Supervisory Committee for White Sands Federal Credit Union. She is a current member of the Aggie Scholarship Association and attends Holy Cross Catholic Church. She loves to read, cook, do jigsaw puzzles, and attend sporting events.
Rose Dominguez, Accounting Manager – has both a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Economics and a Bachelor of Accounting. She has been with Holt Mynatt Martinez since February 1998. Rose enjoys reading, walking and shopping. Unlike most people who have pictures of their children on there desk, Rose has pictures of turtles that show up at her house during the summer. A roadrunner (called Frodo) sleeps on her back porch at night.
Mary Lynn Call, Legal Assistant – is a graduate of NMSU with a BA in English. She has worked for Holt Mynatt Martinez since July of 1998. She is our resident culinary expert, but her interests also include reading, walking, her seven grandchildren, and working in her church.
Brandi Breen, Paralegal- Brandi has been employed by the firm of Holt Mynatt Martinez since May of 2002. Brandi brings over a decade of administrative and legal support experience to her current position, having previously worked as legal assistant/office manager for a corporate attorney in Albuqueruqe, and as a small business owner. A Certified Paralegal, she attended El Paso Community College and Albuquerque TVI (now CNM), and completed UTEP’s Paralegal Certificate Course. In 2005, she earned the CP credential by passing a rigorous exam administered by the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). Brandi is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico Paralegal Division and enjoys reading and writing in her spare time. An animal lover, she has three Scottish terriers named Lola, Charlotte and Shamus.
Alex Cotoia, Legal Assistant -Alex joined the firm in March of 2008, having previously worked for a small litigation and creditors’ rights practice in Albuquerque, and for a prominent law firm in Santa Fe, as the assistant to an AV-rated shareholder. He is a 2004 graduate of RHAM High School in Hebron, CT where he was the recipient of the Hebron Historical Society’s Book Award for Outstanding Scholarship in History, and was voted ‘Most Likely to Succeed.” Alex completed liberal arts coursework at Dona Ana Community College, where he was the recipient of a scholarship for two successive semesters and is currently a part-time student at New Mexico State University, pursuing a degree in Government. He is active in local politics and enjoys reading and writing in his spare time.
Carrie Tarazoff, Receptionist – Carrie is a graduate of Dona Ana Community College, where she received her Associate’s in Paralegal Studies in 2002 and is a member of the Paralegal Section of the New Mexico Bar Association. Carrie is originally from Chicago and moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1988. She has an extensive background in the medical field, having worked in that field for over twenty years. Carrie moved to the Las Cruces area in 1995. In her time away from work, Carried enjoys traveling and shopping.
Gillian Hall, Paralegal – Gillian has been a certified paralegal and a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants since 1991. Most of her career has been working in defense litigation, but she also has experience in medical malpractice, family law and criminal prosecution. Gillian joined the Holt Mynatt Martinez firm in September 2008. Gillian is the proud mother of two children. Her main passion is horseback riding, but she also loves to workout, ski, cook, read and laugh with friends and family.
